Saudi studio Starvania wins its indie game at Devcom World!
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has become an important Arab destination in the e-sports station, and at the same time it is trying to create a suitable environment for developers there, and this seems to be bearing fruit after the Saudi Starvania Studio achieved a major achievement at the Devcom World Exhibition, which is part of the Gamescom 2024 exhibition in Germany.
The studio presented its game Bahamut and the Waqwaq Tree, which is the project that is being worked on by developers in general, as it beat those in the race and won the Best Independent Game award at Devcom 2024, which indicates the great dedication to the project by our Arab developers.
We expect that support will at some point be given to Starvania or other Saudi and Arab studios. Returning to the winning game Bahamut and the Waqwaq Tree, it offers a kind of exploration in the depths of the seas with one mission to focus on, which is to solve the mystery and ignite the light of the ocean from the dark entity that has befallen it.
We're especially proud of what Starvania has to offer at this year's show, and if you're looking to try it out, you can head over to the game's Steam page here and easily download the demo. There's no full version or pre-order available right now, but you can put it on your wishlist to get notified when it's available immediately.
